Rachel Wolf Sings Sondheim

Veteran singer Rachel Wolf returned to the cabaret scene in an evening's celebration of Sondheim.

Hollywood, CA, October 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- After a decade-long hiatus, Rachel Wolf returned to the stage triumphantly and confidently in Cabaret des Artistes, as one of 11 performers tackling the challenging material of Stephen Sondheim.

Rachel began with her trademark dry wit, for which she was compared to Lily Tomlin earlier in her career. With Ross Kalling as musical director, Rachel then took the audience on an emotional journey with her unique and breathtaking arrangement of two Sondheim masterpieces, "Good Thing Going" and "Not A Day Goes By."

Cabaret des Artistes is an ongoing series of musical evenings produced by Jule Rotenberg at the majestic Celebrity Centre, with 3-4 shows per year, each celebrating the work of a particular composer or artist.

"I was so honored to be part of an event with so many talented people," Wolf said. "The energy and love reminded me of how much I've missed performing, and how great it feels to inspire and move others through music. I can't wait to put together my own show again!"
