Just Released: "Driving Home," the Debut Country Music Album from Jay Henry Weisz

"Driving Home," the debut country western music album from singer-songwriter-balladeer Jay Weisz, hits home with a collection of contemporary country songs that touch the soul and, at times, tickle the funny bone too.

San Jose, CA, October 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hologram Publishing is proud to announce the release of Jay Henry Weisz’s debut country music album, “Driving Home.”

The song collection traces Weisz’s thoughts, feelings, and observations as he lived a country life from the windswept Wyoming plains to Georgia’s rural red clay countryside, Carolina, and the Gulf Coast.

“Driving Home,” the album’s title song, speaks to the uncertainty of love, while “Man in the Bar” lets us in on the thought-provoking exchange between two strangers and their perspectives on life. With “One Track Mind” and “The Fight,” Weisz takes a more playful approach to his music, while “Only One” strikes a more somber tone.

“Driving Home” is the follow-up to Weisz’s soft-rock album, “I Understand,” released earlier this year. It represents a turning point musically and personally for this modern-day troubadour whose career has literally spanned the globe. Where the earlier album was more introspective, with soulful ballads, such as “Me and You” and “Desperation,” and the fiery rebuke of “Don’t Know,” this new collection embraces the world head-on with a driving, country beat.

Weisz composes from his home on Florida’s northeast coast.

Both albums, recorded live at Sound Mind Studios in Holly Hill, Florida, are available on iTunes, Amazon, and other popular music sites.
