Mims Distributing Company Adds Lithuanian Products Svyturys Ekstra and Baltijos, Kiss Ciders
Distributor Expands Import Beer and Sparkling Alcohol Beverage Selections
Raleigh, NC, October 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, has announced that it has added four Lithuanian products to its roster of imported beers. They are Svyturys Ekstra, Svyturys Baltijos, Kiss Cherry Cider and Kiss Pear Cider.
A beer with a liquid golden color topped by a thick, snowy-white foam, Svyturys Ekstra is made from barley malt, rice, bitter and spicy hops, brewer’s yeast and fresh water. The beer has been widely acclaimed thanks to the intensity and lightness of its well-balanced taste, with just a slight tinge of the bitterness of hops. This was the first Lithuanian beer to earn the international recognition and be awarded the gold and the silver at the World Beer Cup as well as the gold at the Stockholm beer festival.
Svyturys Baltijos is a dark beer famous for its extra thick foam and rich, sweet, long lasting caramel taste. Baltijos is the oldest beer in the Svyturys beer family, having been made since 1964. It is based on old, traditional brewing methods, and the taste is as close as you can get to the beer Svyturys founding father brewed 200 years ago. Svyturys Baltijos was awarded the bronze medal in the World Beer Championship 2002.
Kiss Cherry Cider and Kiss Pear Cider are both made from the real juice of fruits picked from the European countryside and are naturally brewed. These ciders possess a refreshing taste that is well balanced and not too sweet.
All of the new products will be available soon at outlets served by Mims Distributing Company in four-packs of 16.9-ounce bottles each.
