Gremln Adds New CTO to Its Growing Team

St. Louis, MO, October 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- St. Louis-based social media management software company Gremln has added a new member to its executive team. Derek Guardiola, entrepreneur and futurist with a passion for current and upcoming trends in technology, is the company’s new Chief Technology Officer. With over 13 years of experience designing and developing software applications, as well as defining development methodologies for many Fortune 500 companies, he is an amazing addition to the company.

Guardiola graduated from the Computer Science program at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He then began his professional experience in the Greater St. Louis market as a developer and a leader for various companies’ IT departments. He eventually made an entrepreneurial shift and started multiple gaming companies, which focused largely on Android game development.

Derek is also an avid gamer, rock climber, and enjoys the occasional paintball game.

“Since I've joined the team here at Gremln, I've been focused on implementing new features and streamlining our processes. I'm working on both short-term and long-term goals related to system security, networking, and big data requirements.
