Drop Off Nonperishable Food and Gently Used Shoes at Sanderson Ford During the Operation Goodwill Phoenix Food and Shoe Drive
Sanderson Ford will be collecting nonperishable food items and gently used shoes to benefit the Phoenix community during the Operation Goodwill Phoenix Food and Shoe Drive, November 1-18, 2012.
Phoenix, AZ, October 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sanderson Ford is one of several Phoenix organizations collecting food items and shoes to benefit St. Mary’s Food Alliance and Walk Away Barefoot this November. Along with the Children’s Museum of Phoenix and Ford Motor Company, the Ford dealer will be collecting these items in the Operation Goodwill Phoenix food and shoe drive.
The Operation Goodwill Phoenix food and shoe drive will be taking place November 1-18, 2012. During this time, Phoenix residents can drop of gently used shoes of any size and nonperishable food items. As an added incentive, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix will also be giving away one free general admission ticket to the museum to each person who donates one pair of shoes or three food items at Sanderson Ford. The tickets will be redeemable throughout December 2012, which is also when the “Ford Technology and Innovation Month” will be taking place at the Phoenix Children’s Museum.
The “Ford Technology and Innovation Month” is being sponsored by Ford Motor Company as part of Operation Goodwill Phoenix. During the event, activities and programs at the museum will share a theme of technology and innovation, reflecting the spirit of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford.
