Ms. Clifton Watford was born in 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. She obtained her M.A.T.L. in education and technology in the classroom from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. She is certified in art education, gifted, and elementary education. Ms. Clifton Watford began her career as the owner of Front Porch, a retail gift store, art studio, and wholesale business. Ms. Clifton Watford is affiliated with S.C.B.W.I. , the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Atlanta High Museum of Art, and the Sierra Club. She was awarded Outstanding Young Women of America in 1981. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, painting, gardening and computer technology. Her future goals include the development of educational books and media for children as well as the further development of her own original art.
