Rosellini Scientific, LLC Announces Recent Hire of Dr. Austin Duke as Vice President of Emerging Technologies

Dallas, TX, October 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Rosellini Scientific, LLC is pleased to announce the recent hire of Dr. Austin Duke to join their team as Vice President of Emerging Technologies. Most recently, Dr. Duke received his Master of Science and Doctoral degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University; his research focused on the pre-clinical development of novel optical and electrical techniques for interacting with excitable biological tissues. Prior to Vanderbilt, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a concentration in biomedical instrumentation. At Rosellini Scientific, Dr. Duke will be responsible for leading the pre-clinical research and development of novel medical devices. "Austin's research focus will be on combining optical and electrical methods of neural activation for the purpose of achieving a safe and reliable method of spatially specific nerve stimulation,” said Chief Medical Officer, Barry Kraynack, MD.
