Morphology Junior Earns a Silver Award from the Parents’ Choice Foundation
Morphology Junior earns prestigious award from Parents' Choice Foundation, identifying it as a product that "entertains and teaches with flair, stimulates imagination and inspires creativity."
Minneapolis, MN, October 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Morphology Junior may be the younger sibling in the Morphology Games family, but it’s certainly contending for the spotlight in the family newsletter. This recent-debut from Morphology Games - a tweak on the company’s breakout game that is oriented towards younger players - has been pulling prestigious industry awards over the past few months, including “Game of the Year” from Creative Child Magazine.
Yesterday, Morphology Games announced Morphology Junior’s latest accolade: a Silver Award from the Parents’ Choice Foundation. This honor positions the young game among the highest-quality children’s media on the market. It also brings Junior within still-closer reach of matching Morphology’s long award list, which includes a #2 Toy of the Year nod from TIME Magazine and a Teacher’s Choice Award for the Family from Learning Magazine.
“We’re very proud of Junior,” said Kate Ryan Reiling, President, Founder and matriarch of the Morphology Games family. “It’s tough growing up in the shadow of a talented older sibling, but Morphology Junior is really coming into its own.”
Reiling created Morphology Junior as a response to feedback from parents and families who said they were tinkering with the rules of Morphology to make it suitable for their youngest children. The new game is geared at ages 8+, as opposed to Morphology’s 13+, and its rules are catered to invite younger players into the Morphology Games Universe.
