Brush Pediatric Dentistry Celebrates Anniversary by Raising $4689 for Charity
Dr. Mira Albert, pediatric dentist in Hinsdale, raised close to $5000 for the Hephzibah Children’s Association during Brush Pediatric Dentistry’s first anniversary party.
Hinsdale, IL, October 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On October 15th, 2012, Dr. Mira Albert, Hinsdale pediatric dentist, hosted a first anniversary party for her dental practice, Brush Pediatric Dentistry. An estimated 150 event attendees raised $4689 for the Hephzibah Children’s Association in Oak Park. The attendees consisted of Dr. Albert’s patients, colleagues, suppliers, friends, family, and local businesses. The proceeds came through donations, raffles, and refreshments served by the Brush staff.
The three-hour anniversary party took place at Hinsdale restaurant Il Poggiolo. Participants dined on a variety of hors d'oeuvres and sipped refreshments and cocktails mixed by celebrity bartender Dr. Albert. In addition to celebrating one year of smiles at Brush Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Albert and her team donated and encouraged attendees to donate to the Hephzibah Children’s Association.
“The members of the Hinsdale community and its surrounding areas have been so supportive of Brush, and we wanted to give back,” said Dr. Albert, Hinsdale pediatric dentist. “We are honored that we were able to turn our first anniversary party into such an amazing fundraising event that brought the community together. I learned about the Hephzibah Children’s Association through the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club, and we at Brush wanted to help support the children and families involved with the program. Thanks to our participants, we were able to exceed our goal, and we raised $4689 for the Hephzibah group homes, foster care, and family services.”

The event design was provided by Poppy Event Design’s Kristi Gilbert and Jillian Gerhardt, and the event sweets were provided by Tracey Assaad of P.K.’s Phunky Kitchen in Elmhurst. Dr. John Pawluk of the Endodontic Associates of Illinois was the premier donor of the night, donating $1000.00 towards Hephzibah Children’s Association.

Dr. Mira Albert is a board certified pediatric dentist and earned her dental degree at the University of Michigan. She completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry before she earned a Master of Oral Sciences degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where her research focus was infant oral healthcare.
