A New Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit
Cirrus Research plc announces the introduction of a new range of Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kits which present a complete measurement solution for Occupational and Environmental noise. This new range of noise measurement kits along with a range of Environmental and Occupational noise measurement instruments will be on display at Hillhead 2007, stand P70 as well as at the A+A Expo in September 2007.
Hunmanby, United Kingdom, July 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- After many requests, Cirrus Research plc have combined their most popular noise measurement instruments into a ‘One Kit Fits All’ solution… “The Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit.”
The combination of both of their renowned doseBadge Personal Noise Dosemeters and Sound Level Meters presents the ideal measurement solution for those wishing to make thorough noise risk assessments all contained in one durable kit case.
The Sound Level Meter chosen to accompany the doseBadge Noise Dosemeters can be selected to suit the user’s requirements.
Options of Sound Level Meter vary from the simple to operate ‘point and press’ CR:262, most popular with on-site health & safety managers displaying everything you need on one screen; to meters with data logging, download software or octave band frequency analysis used to help in identifying appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The CR:800B series of data logging meters, which are ideal for both Occupational and Environmental measurements, are a favourite with consultants, local governments, local authorities and health and safety managers of larger companies.
These users may also have a role in environmental monitoring and so choosing a Sound Level Meter that can be used for environmental noise measurements can help to reduce on-site operation, monitoring or download time.
The Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kits include user manuals, quick start guide, calibration certificates, sound level meter windshield, acoustic calibrator, batteries and power cables. The software is supplied without licensing restrictions, a feature that can be essential for multi-site use, consultancy assessments or rental. Periodic software upgrades are available from their website free of charge to ensure reporting remains up-to-date.
As well as providing everything needed for a noise assessment in form of the Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit, ongoing technical support is at hand and their equipment also comes with the new ‘2-12’ Year Warranty. This provides an initial 24-month warranty that can be extended up to 12 years provided the equipment is serviced and recalibrated every 12 months. This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions of the Cirrus Research plc ‘2-12’ Year Warranty which are available on request or from the Cirrus Research plc website.
While the Safety Officers’ Noise Measurement Kit contents can be tailored to the needs of the user, a range of standard systems are available.
Individual data sheets for the doseBadge Personal Noise Dosemeter and the Sound Level Meters are available which cover the individual model options in more depth and contain any technical specifications that may be of interest.
