SABIC Opens New Charleston, SC, Polymershapes Branch to Accelerate Delivery of High-Performance Plastics and Fabrication Services to South Carolina Customers

Pittsfield, MA, October 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- SABIC has opened a new branch of its Polymershapes distribution business in Charleston, South Carolina, to deliver faster service and materials solutions to customers throughout the area.

The new branch is located at 7281 Investment Drive, North Charleston, and it joins the existing Columbia, SC branch to form a new South Carolina sales district for Polymershapes.

Polymershapes delivers exceptional distribution and fabrication of semi-finished plastic materials and associated products for a wide range of customers, focusing on four core markets: image, transportation, industrial, and building/construction. Polymershapes serves customers via the industry’s largest distribution network, now totaling more than 70 branches throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Chile.

Pete Arvan, General Manager, Polymershapes, said the new sales district comprised by the Charleston and Columbia branches will provide customers throughout South Carolina and the Savannah, GA, areas with improved access to Polymershapes’ wide range of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film materials.
