CAREL's High Performance Control at a Touch
Range of touch screen user interfaces: exceptional usability and customisation, made to meet high aesthetic standards.
London, United Kingdom, November 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The innovative components CAREL has introduced for HVAC/R applications include a vast range of graphic colour user interfaces featuring TOUCH TFT technology and LED backlighting: pGD Touch.
The pGD Touch terminal has been designed to offer a simple and user-friendly user interface for the pCO sistema family controllers, as well as other controllers, thanks to adoption of standard communication protocols. Indeed all the most commonly used protocols for HVAC/R systems are available: BACnet MSTP and TCP/IP, and Modbus RTU and TCP/IP. In addition, the terminal features remote connectivity via web (desktop or mobile device) for remote control and maintenance services.
These features make pGDTouch a global area controller that can monitor and manage a network of CAREL controllers and third party devices. pGDTouch is available in a wide range of versions, which differ as regards display size and connectivity, so as to meet all HVAC/R application requirements: 4.3”, 7” .10” and 13”.
Functions include daily, weekly and monthly scheduling to automatically control various activities, such as unit on/off or change set point, as well as the possibility to change screen language during normal operation and pop-up screens for alarm signals.
Furthermore, pGD Touch offers additional new integrated functions that extend potential applications. For example, graphs are available in real time, and controlled variables can be exported to USB key for analysis (e.g. energy efficiency, performance time…).
The Windows CE operating system, the electronic technology used, the 65,000 colour display, the HVAC/R libraries and templates offered by the CAREL 1Tool Touch Editor software, and the advanced graphic functions, including transparency, mean the pGD Touch terminal can manage high resolution images, is intuitive and attractive, features advanced functions, and ensures a high aesthetic standard.
