Silver State Production Services to Stage Zombie Apocalypse in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Silver State Production Services and Downtown Films have teamed up with Hollywood's top special effects gurus for a one-night only Zombie Apocalypse in Haunted Alley near Las Vegas Boulevard South near Fremont Street in historic downtown Las Vegas.
Las Vegas, NV, October 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, Oct. 31 Silver State Production Services and Downtown Films have teamed up with Hollywood's top special effects gurus for a one-night only Zombie Apocalypse in Haunted Alley near Las Vegas Boulevard South near Fremont Street in historic downtown Las Vegas.
This show down between the undead and military saviors will include some of work by Nick Bensen (Tremors, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, The Blob), Skip Burrows (21, Fear Factor), Rusty Myers (Oceans 11, Pay it Forward) Rich Hopkins (2 Fast 2 Furious), as well as the local crew of Silver State Production Services (Hangover 3, Lil Wayne's "No Worries").
During the apocalypse groups of 15 people will be escorted by military forces through an "evacuation zone", complete with armored vehicles provided by Battlefield Vegas during a zombie attack.
Zappos is the title sponsor and will be the first people to go through from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It will be open to the public from 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. The cost will be $20. The wristband will allow entrance into an after party at Insert Coins on Fremont Street.
SSPS is a Las Vegas-based company that services motion picture needs for clients in Nevada. Its partners, operators and crew together compile decades of production experience. The principals and key players have a successful history of coordinating, supervising and assisting alongside some of the production industry’s most respected producers, cinematographers, directors and agencies. Project credits include blockbusters such as “The Hangover" and “The Girlfriend Experience” along with and indie film “Motel Life” which was shot in Northern Nevada in 2011.
