Amanda Bush Receives Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professional ATHENA Award
Jackson Walker partner Amanda Bush received the 2012 Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professional ATHENA Award on Oct. 25, 2012. She was presented with the award during the organization’s 17th Annual Women’s Business Conference.

Ms. Bush focuses her practice on complex commercial, intellectual property, and media and First Amendment litigation. She represents national and local media clients in defending a wide variety of claims at both the trial court and appellate court levels. Her intellectual property cases include defending patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, and trade secret misappropriation claims. She also has extensive business litigation experience, handling contractual and fiduciary duty disputes, real estate disputes, and insurance defense matters.
Ms. Bush’s community involvement includes serving on the board of directors of the Van Cliburn Foundation, chairing the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy’s Dallas/Fort Worth Celebration of Reading, participating in multiple committees with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, serving on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Fort Worth Symphony and on the Executive Committee for the University of Texas School of Law Alumni Association.
