Bob Montgomery Chevrolet Extends Thanks to People of Louisville
The “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Event, an event that raises money to fight breast cancer, has come to a close at Bob Montgomery Chevrolet.
Louisville, KY, November 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Chevrolet has been a proud supporter of the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides against Breast Cancer” program since 2011, and this Breast Cancer Awareness Month was no exception for Chevrolet. Bob Montgomery Chevrolet and other Chevy dealerships across the country were glad to take part in several promotions throughout the month that helped raise money to fight breast cancer.
For the first time, Chevrolet offered a test drive offer on Saturday, October 6th, in which they donated $10 for every vehicle test drive taken across the county, up to a maximum contribution of $130,000. Bob Montgomery Chevrolet was glad to play a small part in this fundraiser, taking several customers out for test drives on that day.
Bob Montgomery Chevy also took part in the “Service for Strides” promotion; a promotion that was ongoing throughout the month of October. Essentially, this promotion gave service customers the opportunity to donate their service rebates to breast cancer research, and whatever amount customers donated, Chevy would match that contribution (up to $150,000 total).
Finally, the last way that Chevy donated money to the American Cancer Society was by donating $200 for each time the pink Camaro pace car took a caution lap in the NASCAR race in Atlanta on September 2nd.
