Netscribes Analysts Featured in Market Analyst
Speaking to Market Analyst, Netscribes analysts share views on ICT adoption in insurance sector and IPv6.
Mumbai, India, November 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Two analysts of Netscribes, a knowledge consulting firm, have been featured in interviews with Market Analyst. The analysts are Himadri Roy and Soumyadeep Roy Chowdhury.
While Himadri, Senior Analyst with Netscribes, spoke about the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) adoption by the fast growing insurance industry, Soumyadeep, Analyst with Netscribes, shared views on the topic, “Where are India’s IPv6 Gurus”.
Himadri emphasised the rapid adoption of ICT by India’s insurance sector. Discussing this insurance sector's investment in ICT, he informed that the sector has witnessed more than 30 per cent annual growth during the last few years. He also pointed out that the beneficiaries of the ICT spending have largely been off-shore vendors, even though domestic companies are giving them stiff competition.
Soumyadeep, on the other hand, spoke about the Indian Government’s decision to mandate a switch to IPv6 by the end of the current financial year. Despite the Indian industry having to also look for IPv6 talent off-shore, Soumyadeep said the country's banking and IT sectors are committed to IPv6. However, there is speculation about the government’s ability to meet the deadline due to lack of IPv6 expertise in the country, opines Soumyadeep.
The interviews were conducted by Mr. Sam Masud, Senior Vice President, Market Analyst, LLC.
