Santa Clarita Rotary Club and Christine Stevens of UpBeat Drum Circles Celebrate Healthy Drumming

Santa Clarita, CA, July 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Santa Clarita Rotary Club will be drumming with Christine Stevens of UpBeat Drum Circles at the Rotary Club's Wednesday meeting. Over fifty Rotarians are expected to participate in the drum circle, which will be led by Christine Stevens.

Drumming has been shown to improve one's mood, release chemicals into the brain that rejuvenate the aging process and, most importantly, it is fun. Stevens is the author of the Healing Drum Kit and the founder of UpBeat Drum Circles.

The Rotarians will demonstrate how drumming can change feelings of calmness to ones of joy and ecstacy. They have agreed to fully participate in this event and are hopeful that the drumming will have long-lasting healing effects on the club members.

This will mark the first time that Christine Stevens has appeared at the Rotary Club.
