Help Make a Foreign Exchange Student's Holidays a Little Brighter by Becoming a Host Family
Foreign exchange students from a variety of countries are scheduled to arrive in the U.S. in January 2013, and Organization for Cultural Exchange Among Nations is currently seeking volunteer host families to provide them with room and board for the duration of their stay.
Tempe, AZ, November 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Give the perfect gift this holiday season by opening your hearts and homes to an international exchange student from abroad. As the holidays approach, the students are becoming more and more anxious to learn about the family they will be living with for the semester. Students are between the ages of 15-18 and are looking forward to the opportunity to spend a semester in the United States. Students will learn about America firsthand while residing with host families, participating in their daily activities and attending local high schools. Organization for Cultural Exchange Among Nations is currently seeking volunteer host families that are willing to welcome these students into their homes. Students come from the following countries: Brazil, Colombia, China and the Ukraine.
Students are fully insured, proficient in English and come with their own spending money to cover personal expenses. Host families are responsible for providing the student with room and board, as well as a loving family environment. The rewards a family receives for hosting an exchange student last a lifetime. In addition, the family makes friends from abroad while helping to bring the world closer together.
