Hernon Manufacturing Welcomes Western United States Salesperson
Recently, Hernon Manufacturing welcomed Scot Srodes to the Hernon Manufacturing family to enhance their sales and support teams.
Sanford, FL, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hernon Manufacturing, the innovator in adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment, is proud to announce and welcome Scot Srodes as the newest sales representative for its Western United States territory. Srodes will be responsible for building customer and distributor relationships as well as contributing to the growth of the company’s products and equipment sales.
Like many companies, Hernon Manufacturing knows a large part of their success as an adhesive, sealant, and dispensing equipment provider comes from their employees. Always on the lookout for new talent, Hernon Manufacturing seeks out qualified applicants with a positive attitude and customer focus. Srodes began training in his new position on Monday and is the company’s newest addition.
“Having worked for Motorola and National Semiconductor, Scot comes to us with a strong background in electronics,” said Edgardo Rodriguez, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hernon Manufacturing. “We believe he will be a strong asset to our team in reaching our sales goals.”
With more than 15 years’ experience selling financial solutions to investors and productivity tools to businesses, leveraging experience in process and development engineering, operations management, and supply chain planning, Srodes unique skillset will boost Hernon’s team efforts.
“My priority throughout my career has been to help customers solve their problems,” said Srodes. “Whether that customer is a manufacturing manager, a semiconductor device engineer, or an investor trying to plan for retirement and protect their wealth, the objective is the same – always be on the same side of the table as the customer and everything will take care of itself. I hope to apply this consultative sales approach, collaborating with various customer organizations and Hernon engineers and scientists to enable solutions to be delivered that are a win-win for all involved.”
As the Sales and Operations Manager for Motorola’s Enterprise Modeling & Analysis Group, Srodes was responsible for selling and implementing productivity solutions for manufacturing facilities worldwide. His efforts lead to the implementation of factory planning software in 20 factories around the world.
Srodes experience also includes growing assets from zero to over $20 million through one-on-one trusted interactions, attention to detail, portfolio performance, and referrals. Additionally, Srodes applied SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments) to improve productivity of bottleneck tool set that increased factory throughput by 14%, increased overall product yield by 6%, and improved cycle-time by 15%.
