Connect Productions Sets November 18, 2012 for Rock/Metal for Child Advocates
Rock & Metal unite to raise funds to sponsor Christmas for very special teens.
Houston, TX, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Connect Productions is pleased to announce that the 2012 Rock/Metal For Child Advocates will be held at Numbers Nightclub in Houston on November 18, 2012. This all ages event will feature live music in the Rock and Metal genres as money is raised to sponsor Christmas for teens within the Child Advocates, Inc. organization.
Connect Productions Co-Founder Shannon Selph describes what motivated her and partner Spencer Selph to create the event: “The Child Advocates organization has been near and dear to my heart for years. The teens especially. These kids have been through so much and have so little and are most often forgotten. We created Rock & Metal For Child Advocates to raise awareness and funds for them.” Co-Founder Spencer Selph adds, “The local community has really embraced the event and has allowed us to sponsor teens for Christmas and even outfitted some kids for camp last year.” Sonya Galvan, President of Child Advocates, Inc. praises Spencer and Shannon, “Thank you so much for the commitment you have towards Child Advocates and our kids. You are always there for them.”
The event is scheduled to showcase music from Series Six, Black Kennedy, Mike Terror, Faded Grace, Hold Me Heroine, Stacey Steele, Signal Rising, Shadow Code & Only Scars Remain with more to be announced. Additionally, an auction will be held to include music memorabilia, movie passes, movie memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, massage gift certificates and more.
