The Cornerstone Awards celebrate the best in home design, construction, an remodeling in the state of New Hampshire, as judged by their peers from the Builders Association of Greater Boston. In June 2007, Cargill Construction took three Cornerstone Awards home to their new showroom, tucked between the beautiful Lakes Region and stunning White Mountains Region of central New Hampshire.

The Cornerstone Awards are produced by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of NH’s (HBRANH) Sales & Marketing Council. The awards are presented yearly to recognize excellence in all areas of the building industry, including design, remodeling, new construction, landscaping and special features.
Cargill Construction’s three winning projects, all in the “New Construction” category, were among 176 total entries, which were judged by peers from the Builders Association of Greater Boston.
“It’s an honor and a pleasure to be recognized at this year’s Cornerstone Awards,” said Bill Cargill, President of Cargill Construction. “Our three prize-winning homes feature a wide range of styles – mission, gambrel, and a traditional New England coastal home - and showcase our flexibility and creativity. Cargill’s entries were judged on how well their designs demonstrated a comprehensive approach to home building. The judges considered quality of construction, function of the overall layout of the home, plot planning, and architectural details.
Cargill took the Gold in the “Single Family Detached $800,000-$1,000,000” category for their mission-style home and in the “Single Family Detached $1,000,000-$1,500,000” category for their gambrel – both top honors for the categories. They also took the Bronze in the “Single Family Detached over $1,500,000” category for their traditional New England coastal home with a turn-of-the-century Adirondack interior.
