Skygate Media Announces Exciting New Features on Weld.com to be Presented at the FabTech Expo

Las Vegas, NV, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Weld.com is happy to return to the FabTech Expo November 12-14th in Las Vegas (booth # N4809). In anticipation of this event, they requested the assistance of New York web design firm Skygate Media to add some new features to their website. As a global resource for all things related to welding, they connect both veteran and new welders to relevant products and services in order to foster a community and share the latest information in the field.

Top web designers at Skygate Media originally designed Weld.com in anticipation for the FabTech Expo in 2011. They returned to the design team with the goal of broadening the scope of the site to include more functionality and encourage growth of their network. The following features were recently added: Premium Membership profiles, a product comparison section, and an online store.

The Premium Membership allows distributors to pay for a detailed company profile. Members who choose this option can upload images, a link to their website, company logo, links to social media and detailed contact information for multiple locations. This is a great way to increase exposure on the most visible source for welders.

The Product Comparison page which was playfully named “apples to apples” allows users the ability select multiple welding tools to educate themselves on the similarities/differences before making a purchase. It includes non-biased product reviews submitted by members as well as specialists from Weld.com.

Lastly, the online store was created to offer products that promote the field of welding. Built on the Joomla platform, it has CMS functionality and is user friendly for both site administrators and visitors alike. All of the updates reinforce the branding and reputation of Weld.com as the go-to resource for Welders nationally and internationally.
