XLR Audio Switches Are Ideal for Radio Broadcasting Networks
XLR Switches are used to switch audio and video equipment such as microphones, video cameras, speaker, etc. without unplugging and plugging cables.
Cranston, RI, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Electro Standards Laboratories has recently added three XLR Audio/Video Switches to their product line up. These three new models utilize XLR connectors commonly interfaced with professional audio and video equipment such as microphones, speakers, video cameras, etc., providing an ideal network backup solution for TV and Radio Stations.
Model 8039 is a multi-peripheral A/B switch with RJ45 CAT5, XLR 3-Pin and BNC connectors. This manually operated switch allows quick and easy connection of PC data, Microphone Audio, and Video channels to either of two remote locations via a front panel rotary switch and requires no power. This reliable switch incorporates a high-quality sealed switch with self-wiping low impedance contacts. The attractive anodized black box enclosure provides EMI/RFI shielding.
The Model 7298 is a 3-channel XLR Audio A/B Switch with contact control remote port. Each of the three channels allows access to two XLR interface devices from one COMMON XLR device. All three channels in this rackmount configured switch are switched simultaneously.
The Model 7299 is an 8-channel XLR Audio A/B/C switch with contact control remote port. This switch is housed in a 3U rackmount enclosure. The remote control port allows off-site switch management and the ability to lockout the front-panel pushbutton control. This switch retains its last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data.
Electro Standards Laboratories manufactures a wide array of copper and fiber optic network switches for government, commercial, and industrial applications. Adding these three switches to serve the Radio and TV broadcast industries is a natural progression in the company’s goal to serve all requirements for network backup switches.
