Integrated and Mobile: The New LI Tactical Unit

Brno, Czech Republic, November 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Internet service providers are obliged to set up an interface to allow law enforcement authorities to conduct lawful interceptions (according to the law on electronic communications).Traditional solutions for lawful interception consist of at least two parts – one or more probes to capture traffic of interest on the network and a mediation device to encapsulate and forward the data to law enforcement authorities. Although this model is effective and time-proven, it also requires installation, interconnection of the parts and rack resources such as space and power supply. Moreover, smaller networks do not produce enough traffic to fully utilize the performance of this solution and possibly do not have to process such an amount of interception warrants.

In an effort to constantly improve their products and to satisfy customer needs, INVEA-TECH released a new product intended for execution of lawful interceptions offering a different approach. Petr Kastovsky, INVEA-TECH LI System Product Manager, presented the product as follows: “We have integrated the two traditional parts – the probe and the mediation device into one single unit – the INVEA-TECH Lawful Interception Tactical Unit.
