HR Firm CPEhr Updates and Releases Health Care Reform E-Book
HR Outsourcing firm releases updated and revised E-Book, “The Fourteen Health Care Reform Questions Every Employer Needs to Know.”
Los Angeles, CA, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Human Resources Outsourcing firm CPEhr re-released this week its well-received e-book under the new title, “The Fourteen Health Care Reform Questions Every Employer Needs to Know.” The new e-book answers over a dozen health care reform questions that directly impact small and mid-sized employers.
While the original e-book was released less than two months ago, the new one already contains updated information as reflected in the rapidly changing health care environment.
“The Health Care Reform Act (PPACA) continues to evolve as changes, guidance and additional details on the Act’s provisions are issued,” says Peter Duncan, Executive Vice President of Sidles Duncan & Associates, CPEhr’s health insurance brokerage. “We anticipate the Act will continue to change over time as the government deals with the Act’s complexity and challenges to implementation.”
The new e-book includes two new questions and answers, on the topics of non-discrimination requirements and W2 reporting requirements. It also contains an amendment to the original document, clarifying that the employee voucher provision has been repealed and is no longer included in the Health Care Reform Act.
Other topics covered in the e-book include:
What is a health benefit exchange?
What are “free choice vouchers” and how will they be used?
What are the penalties for employers who do not offer coverage?
How should employers prepare for the upcoming changes?
What is a “Cadillac Health Plan”?
“In the next few months, guidance and communication requirements on the operation, benefit plans and cost of state exchange plans will be issued. We will be working closely with CPEhr to communicate these updates to their clients,” says Duncan.
CPEhr specializes in small business medical benefits and administration and has established a webpage dedicated small business Affordable Care Act information. Download your copy of the e-book there.
