Phoenix Residents Celebrate U.S. Veterans with the Veterans Day Tribute Ride and Family Festival Sponsored by Sanderson Lincoln

Phoenix, AZ, November 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This Saturday, November 10, 2012, more than 500 motorcycle enthusiasts will gather in Phoenix to honor the United States Armed Services and veterans for Veterans Day. Sanderson Lincoln on Bell Road is proud to be a sponsor of the Veterans Tribute Ride and Family Festival, which benefits the USO Arizona and Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society.

Festivities begin at 10am at Sanderson Ford with the free family festival and ride registration. From 10 AM until 2 PM, attendees will enjoy food and drink stations, raffles, 50/50, veteran services, a rock climbing wall, and special guest Roger Clyne. At 12:00 PM, the POW, MIA, KIA Honor Guard presents colors, followed by the Desert Rats Formation Flying Team in the missing man formation and Roger Clyne performing the National Anthem.

The ride will kick off at 2:30 PM with celebrity bikers Mike Broomhead, Tim and Willy, Jim Owen, Fitz Madrid, and Neanderpaul. The bikers will start at Sanderson Ford and ride to Harley Davidson of Scottsdale, making two honor stops along the way. The stops will take place at Wesley Bolin Plaze and Arizona State Veterans Home.

From 6 PM until 10 PM, a party and concert will take place at Harley Davidson of Scottsdale. Furious George will perform with a special appearance by Tequila Sheila. Attendees will also be able to enjoy the Miller High Life Garden and Whiskey Ranch BBQ.
