Audio Reels were first introduced in the 1930's and maintained their popularity until Cassette Tapes were introduced and when movie film with sound become more prevalent. Audio reels were used to record important life events & milestones capturing a moment in time. As years go by, those moments are slowly forgotten until they are gone. Photos are passed down generations to generations, but audio reels can easily be lost or forgotten altogether. With Larsen Digital's new service, they will convert the audio reels to either a CD or an Mp3 audio file. Once these files have been converted to digital, they can be shared with family and friends so everyone can re-live the moment again.
