Live Interview with Executive Editor of Large Blog Network to Offer Tips on Becoming a Professional Blogger

Philadelphia, PA, July 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ChickTechTalk (BlogTalkRadio.com/chicktech), the BlogTalkRadio show hosted by Jennifer Mattern of JH Mattern Communications (jhmattern.com), will be airing a live segment on Wednesday, July 18th at 6:00 pm Eastern time on the topic of what it takes to become a professional blogger. Mattern will be chatting with Tammy Powley, an Executive Editor with Creative-Weblogging.com, a major professional blog network, who handles blogger recruitment.

The show will touch on three forms of professional blogging:

1. Corporate Blogging
2. Network Blogging
3. Running and Monetizing One's Own Blogs

The emphasis will be placed on the latter two types of professional bloggers, and how those interested in professional blogging can get their foot in the door with blog networks, or earn a living by running their own niche and professional blogs.

"I don't consider myself to be a professional blogger," says Mattern. "I'm a PR consultant by trade, but I do run about a dozen blogs, among several other websites. I look at them more as 'hobby sites,' but I'll be sharing with listeners several tips I've learned along the way of bringing my blogs from earning nothing through four figures each month. I'm excited to have Tammy on board for this show to tackle the other side of the professional blogging spectrum, giving bloggers an idea of what it really takes to get involved with the bigger blog networks in an effort to become a professional blogger."
