Man Discovers the Secret Behind His Mother's Disappearance

James Saylor's mother disappeared when he was a child. Now the mystery of her disappearance is solved...but more mysteries are uncovered. These videos are a prequel to the upcoming web series Shotgun Mythos.

Martinsburg, WV, November 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- James Saylor thought his mother had abandoned him when he was a child, but the discovery of a series of journals his father kept, reveal a much different reality, and reveal a much larger series of mysteries. Disappearances going back nearly 70 years lead James into a world that he never dreamed existed.

The 12 vlog series recording James' discovery was produced by Growth Media Services, and is the prequel to the upcoming web series Shotgun Mythos. "The background of the series includes many historical mysteries," says series creator Darla Gaige. "We needed a way to convey that to our viewers. Most people think that the story of the Pied Piper is just a Fairy Tale. They don't realize that most of the children of Hamelin, Germany did in fact disappear in 1284. And that is just one of many documented but unexplained disappearances that have continued right up until today. These disappearances combined with Biblical references, Classical myths and Celtic Folklore create the world of Shotgun Mythos."

Shotgun Mythos follows Joss Washburn, a cynical detective, as he takes on a missing persons case, only to discover that nothing is what it seems. Things that were dismissed as fairy tales or children's stories have a basis in a much darker reality. The prequel vlogs are currently releasing on blip.tv and on YouTube, with the web series scheduled for release in early 2013.
