Real Estate Company Offers Support to Victims of Hurricane
IndCor Donates Space to American Red Cross in Aftermath of Hurricane Sandy
Jersey City, NJ, November 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to support victims of Hurricane Sandy, IndCor, a premier real estate company focused on the ownership and management of industrial properties, has provided the American Red Cross with the use of one of its buildings in New Jersey.
The donated warehouse is a state-of-the-art distribution building located in Jersey City, NJ, and is approximately 126,000 square-feet. The space is in prime location, given its closeness to some of the most destructed areas following the October storm, including New York City, Hoboken, Jersey City and Staten Island.
Like many of the American Red Cross locations used for Hurricane Sandy relief, the IndCor-donated warehouse will store everything from basic personal hygiene kits to rakes. Items will be distributed to the surrounding communities to help the victims of the storm get back on their feet. IndCor donated the warehouse so that essentials can be stored and dispersed in a close proximity to those hit the worst by the storm.
“Hurricane Sandy left so many people in the New Jersey and New York City area in devastation,” says Tim Beaudin, CEO of IndCor. “People are without homes, power and supplies they need. We’re fortunate to be able to help and provide whatever we can to restore and rebuild the communities that have faced this disaster.”
The location will remain donated by IndCor to the Red Cross and open for 90 days.
