Chase Wilson Education Hosted Bullying Prevention Workshop November 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bergen County Police and Fire Academy in Mahwah, NJ
The Bullying Prevention Workshop, sponsored by Plymouth Rock Assurance, Teachers’ Insurance Plan of NJ, highlighted The Building Blocks Approach from CWE’s anti-bullying curriculum – The Building Blocks of HIB: Bullying Redefined -- which was designed for all educators working within a school and includes anti-bullying strategies and lessons based on their specific area of focus.
Park Ridge, NJ, November 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Bullying Prevention Workshop highlighted The Building Blocks Approach from CWE’s anti-bullying curriculum – The Building Blocks of HIB: Bullying Redefined -- which was designed for all educators working within a school and includes anti-bullying strategies and lessons based on their specific area of focus.
The curriculum was developed and written by Chase Wilson Education’s Director of Educational Programs, Andrew Yeager, a NJ School Psychologist and Student Assistance Coordinator, who lectures extensively and conducts trainings on bullying and adolescent issues throughout the country.
At the Workshop, Yeager provided
· An Introduction to The Building Blocks – the 20 motivating factors that lead to harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB)
· In depth counseling strategies for dealing with HIB – involved youth
· Insight into specific classroom infusion lessons designed for 9 school subjects
· Suggestion for improving overall school climate
Anti-Bullying Specialists, School Counselors, Curriculum Directors, Principals and Vice Principals benefited the most from this informative Seminar.
