Professional Networking Organization Raises Holiday Spirits with Coat Drive for Kids

Westchester Networking for Professionals (WNFP) has announce their Annual Keep Our Kids Warm Program. For several years WNFP has shown their support to organizations within the Westchester County area to assist in organizing charitable donation campaigns.

Mount Vernon, NY, November 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- It’s that time of year again when the holidays bring great feelings of giving and Westchester Networking for Professionals (WNFP) has announce their Annual Keep Our Kids Warm Program. They have formed a partnership with Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless (WCHH) in an effort to help our community of youths ages 3-18 with the collection of new and/or gently used winter clothing to keep them warm this winter. Donations will be collected from November 16 through December 16, 2012.

For several years WNFP has shown their support to organizations within the Westchester County area to assist in organizing charitable donation campaigns. This would be their second year contributing their support to the WCHH Holiday Season Coat Drive to helping low income and less privileged children of Westchester County communities.

At a time like this when many residents have been affected by the most dramatic natural disaster ever to hit New York, SuperStorm Sandy, which has left a lot of families homeless. So now, more than ever, our community needs organizations like Westchester Networking for Professionals to step up and show their support as we start to rebuild our communities.

WNFP has teamed up with a few neighborhood YMCAs to use their locations as a drop off site for donations of a child’s new, fairly new, and gently used coats, hats, scarves and gloves that no longer fits to a needy kid this winter season. This is the perfect time to get rid of the old and bring in the new.

“With the destruction of Hurricane Sandy, now is the time we come together as a community and help one another. Whether it’s checking on a neighbor, reaching out to family members, sharing office space with those who lost power or have water damage, or even donating to the Red Cross, there are many families that need your help. And, once again, WNFP is putting a foot forward to offer assistance! A little help is better than nothing; your support will go a long way and we at WNFP will continue to put forward ways to perform good deeds for our community,” says Theresa Todman, Founder of WNFP.

Be an Angel and make a difference for a child this winter; your support is greatly appreciated. To find out more about Westchester Networking for Professionals Coat Drive for Kids “Keep Our Kids Warm” and drop off locations visit their website at www.wnfp.org or call (914) 266-0347.
