Biznet Internet Solutions Overhauls NACA Website

Oak Park, MI, July 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) announced it has been experiencing a 25 percent increase in viewership of its Website (www.naca.net) following several improvements and additions to its web site by Oak Park, Mich.-based Biznet Internet Solutions (www.biznetis.net).

The “Find an Attorney” tool is among the most significant of the consumer-oriented improvements, now allowing visitors to locate the specific attorney for their needs. It enables them to narrow their search to such characteristics as specific practice (i.e., auto fraud, identity theft and lemon laws), experience in that practice and the attorney’s location.

“In this age of predatory lenders and high-tech identity theft, consumers are being taken advantage of more than ever,” said Ira Rheingold, Executive Director and General Counsel of NACA, an organization that provides people with the information necessary to help protect themselves against consumer injustices. “Consumers need a resource that is easy to use and can educate them about their rights and the laws in place to protect them.”

While the previous NACA Website was geared more toward the organization’s members, Biznet created several new sections to help turn the scales into the consumers’ favor. The section entitled “Help for Consumers” contains information for victims of fraudulent or predatory lending practices and covers such topics as consumer’s rights and on-going campaigns and how those interested can become involved.

Visitors to the Website can share their stories of consumer abuses with NACA by utilizing the “Tell Your Story” form. This portion of the site also is used by NACA members to identify people who can help testify in federal cases where legislation in under consideration.

“Our organization is committed to providing consumers with the means to protect themselves from fraud or abuse, or to fight back if they are victimized,” said Rheingold. “Biznet has helped us build a site where we can achieve this and more.
