Novagard Solutions Announces GM MATSPC Approval
Novagard Solutions has announced today that General Motors has listed Foam Seal 60 A Automotive PVC foam on their GM Material File (MATSPC) for the GMW15473 Type II Class II specification.
Cleveland, OH, November 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Novagard Solutions®, a global supplier of NOVAGARD ® and NOVAFLEX® sealants, Foam Seal PVC foam products, Versilube® lubricants, NOVAGARD UV® coatings and compounds and other engineered products, announces that their Foam Seal 60A Automotive PVC foam has been certified and listed against General Motors’ worldwide specification, GMW15473 Class II, Type II, for Flexible Expanded Rubber Materials for Air, Dust, Noise and Water Sealing.
Additionally, Foam Seal 60A Automotive PVC low-density foam conforms to the Chrysler MS-AY500 Type III and Ford ESB-M3G102-A specifications.
The Foam Seal Automotive PVC foam products have been scientifically engineered for use in stringent automotive applications that require positive seals on irregular surfaces or when flex and conformability to seal tight radius curves are critical considerations. The foam products are available in thicknesses of 0.062" to 0.787" (1.2 to 20 mm). These low cost products are easy to compress, are conformable but at the same time are resilient to meet the automotive demands of the application.
In addition to low density automotive PVC foam products, Novagard Solutions manufactures low, medium and high density industrial PVC foam products and a line of versatile specialty grade PVC foam products all sold under the Foam Seal brand.
The company’s newly designed website provides a listing of Novagard Solutions’ line of PVC foam products sold under the Foam Seal brand. In addition to the product listing, this new website provides Foam Seal customers with product features, product data sheets, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and other information about these Foam Seal PVC foam products.
