Minneapolis, MN, November 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- IT consulting firm, York Solutions, and its professional development association, Think IT, are happy to announce their participation in the Sharing and Caring Hands Annual Christmas Drive. The goal of York and Think IT is to collect 1,000 toys by Friday, December 14th to help make the holiday season special for children and teens in the Twin Cities.
York Solutions and Think IT are collecting unwrapped, brand new toys for boys and girls. Donations can also include cash, gift cards, sporting goods, and electronics for teens. Any cash donations received will be used to purchase gifts to contribute to the toy drive.
“Sharing and Caring Hands is such a wonderful organization in our community. Its compassion for those in need is incredible and we are so happy to contribute to the amazing work their volunteers do,” said Richard Walker, Chairman of Think IT Association and Partner at York Solutions.
Gifts will be collected at the York Solutions and Think IT offices, located at 7101 Northland Circle North, Suite 200 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Think IT members are also welcome to bring donations to their weekly group meetings. In addition, Think IT representatives and York employees will make themselves available to pick up donations from those who are unable to visit the office or meetings.
“I hope that all members of York, Think IT, and the greater Minneapolis community will contribute to this cause and help us meet or even surpass our goal of collecting 1,000 toys for local children and teens,” continued Walker. “We thank everyone in advance for their generosity!”
