Networking Event for Mental Health Professionals

Springfield, MO, November 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute and the Robert J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute will be hosting a networking event for mental health professionals in Springfield and the surrounding areas. This event, “The Couch”, will be held at Forest Institute, 2885 W. Battlefield Rd., Springfield, Missouri, on Friday, December 7, 2013, from 3 pm-5 pm.

Area mental health professionals will come together to share their specialties, network, find referrals, and give input on continuing education opportunities in the Springfield area.

Attendees do not have to make a presentation to participate. Efforts are being made to have 15-20 presentations with a variety of topics and specialties showcased. From this group, the Center for Innovation and Community Health will select continuing education presenters for 2013. Additionally, one “Couch” award will be given to the presenter with the greatest number of votes.

There is no cost to attend this networking event, but an opportunity will be given to be included in an online referral directory that will be located on Forest’s clinic website, murneyclinic.org. This will give our community access to contact area professionals that fit the specialties they are looking for.
