OlinData Announces First Ever PuppetCamp in Singapore
Organised by OlinData, this second edition of PuppetCamp Southeast Asia is set to bring you a full day of tech talks surrounding the open source configuration management tool Puppet, this time in Singapore.
Singapore, Singapore, November 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Featuring a full programme of tech talks surrounding the open source configuration management tool Puppet, OlinData is organising the second edition of PuppetCamp Southeast Asia that will take place in Singapore.
Happening on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 9.00am to 5.00pm, PuppetCamp SEA @ Blk 71 is a one-day conference-style networking event featuring interesting talks and discussions about Puppet. It is the best opportunity to expand knowledge on developing/programing, configuration management & Puppet, and is also an excellent platform to exchange knowledge and experience with other developers & system administrators. And best of all, it is held free of charge for anyone in the tech community who wishes to join.
The current line-up of speakers for PuppetCamp SEA @ Blk 71 include Nick Lewis of Puppet Labs, who is one of the first developers at Puppet Labs and also actively develops Puppet DB, Choon Ming Goh, senior consultant at OlinData and Paul Kim, product manager at Nubefy.
OlinData Asia Pte Ltd – the first and biggest official partner of Puppet Labs in Asia – is certainly proud to bring another PuppetCamp to Southeast Asia.
“We are always looking for opportunities to introduce Puppet to Asia as there is a lot to be gained from adopting this configuration management technology,” commented Mr Walter Heck, founder & CEO of OlinData. “What better way than to bring people together for a one-day conference to let them find out more, network and also have some fun?”
Besides being the founder of OlinData, Mr. Heck, who has been a Linux system administrator for several years now, “cannot imagine living without configuration management anymore.”
Supported by Puppet Labs and sponsored by NUS Enterprise, PuppetCamp SEA @ Blk 71 is set to bring you a day of informative discussions and networking within the IT scene in Singapore.
