Laura Ernst Flies Into RAW Finals
After winning the semi-final round in Des Moines, Laura Ernst will now move on to compete for the title of RAW Performing Artist of the Year.
Des Moines, IA, November 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- After wowing the judges and audience members in both the preliminary and semi-final rounds of the 2012 RAWards, Laura Ernst has secured her place as a finalist for Performing Artist of the Year. The finale of the two and a half month long indie arts competition will take place in Los Angeles on January 13, 2013 at the Belasco Theater. Those in attendance are in for a real treat as the only thing more stunning than the Los Angeles landmark’s recent renovation will be this spectacular showcase featuring Laura Ernst and her high flying aerial acrobatics.
Laura will be competing for the title of Performing Artist of the Year and a host of prizes, including consultations with industry experts, a write-up on “Staged Incident,” a filmed interview and feature on RAWartists.org, and much more. Judging this final round of competition are Daron Moore, Producer and Marketing Director of Laugh Factory, Donald Byrd, Artistic Director of Spectrum Dance Theater, and Laura Penn, Executive Director of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
Laura Ernst has been preparing and training for a celebrated career as a performing artist since she was a child first learning to juggle in elementary school. After juggling her way through college, she set off for the East Coast where she lived and trained in several cities along the coast. Laura has gone on to become an international award winning juggler, a highly praised contestant on America’s Got Talent, and a celebrated member of the performing arts community.
