Casey BMW Announces Sandy Relief Provided by BMW Group Financial Services

Following the destruction of Hurricane Sandy, BMW Group Financial Services is offering assistance to affected customers and dealers.

Newport News, VA, November 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- It has been three weeks since the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, and still the Northeast is working to rebuild cities, communities, homes, and individual lives. As the storm hit, associates of BMW’s Group Financial Services stayed put in the northern New Jersey headquarters to assess the damage and address the immediate needs of customers and dealers in the area and along the affected parts of the east coast.

Responding immediately, BMW Group Financial Services quickly implemented several relief and assistance programs, aimed to assist struggling customers and dealers. In addition, BMW Group Financial Services also instated communication plans that support customers and retailers located in severely affected areas.

“Our hearts go out to all those impacted by this devastating hurricane,” said Ed Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Financial Services, Americas Region. “Our associates, some of whom were also affected, are working tirelessly to assist customers and dealers during the recovery process. In addition to assisting customers, BMW Group Financial Services has also been providing aid to dealers whose operations have been affected in some way by Hurricane Sandy. All impacted BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, and Rolls-Royce floorplan dealers are going to receive reduced floorplan interest charges. This reduced rate will be based on the specific operational impact for each dealer.
