Vengeo Inc. Announces Hiring of CTO, Expanded Software Development Team
Toronto, Canada, November 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Vengeo is pleased to announce the hiring of Huw Leonard as the company's first Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Leonard brings two decades of senior technology management experience earned at the helm of several globally recognized Canadian and Japanese application development teams in the financial and technology sectors. He previously served as the CTO of iLogic and iNAGO.
Complementing Mr. Leonard, Vengeo has also hired a senior technology resource with deep tier-one telecom project experience along with two other front-end mobile software specialists to broaden the scope of its existing development team.
"This is an exciting time for Vengeo," said CEO and founder Vic Cauchi, "Huw's leadership and our growing development team will give us the opportunity to take Vengeo's extensive integrated suite of do-it-yourself online ePublishing and communications tools to the next level. Over the coming year, we will accelerate our ‘socialization’ road map and offer our expanding client base a simplified user experience with better social media and mobile integration."
Mr. Leonard added, "Having worked with a number of start-ups and early stage companies, I can spot a product that has what it takes to be successful in the market. For years, I've seen companies struggle with the evolution of Internet-related marketing and communication. Vengeo's platform addresses this need; integrating all the tools necessary to communicate, collaborate and connect more effectively."
Although pursued by more established organizations, Mr. Leonard, made the decision to join Vengeo because, as he says, "Vengeo is at an exciting phase of development, with a core system that I look forward to guiding into an unparalleled product."
Since 2008, Vengeo’s investment capital has been directed at product development. The result of this commitment is a consolidated, multi-functional, Do-It-Yourself suite of online Web Publishing and Communication tools. Hundreds of Small business and Non-profit early adopters have generated valuable feedback on usability and core features which Vengeo has used to continually upgrade their ‘push oriented’, rich feature set. The new team’s mandate is to harmonize Vengeo’s product interoperability and user interface while boosting back-end scalability for the growing interest from business and non-profit communities. This ambitious schedule includes key third-party integration with the major social networking platforms.
