Coat Drive Helps Local People in Need Stay Warm. With the Devastation of Hurricane Sandy, the Need for Coats Has Never Been Greater.
Brooklyn, NY, November 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Be Positive Campaign is partnering with the Brooklyn Rescue Mission, What About The Children Inc., New York Cares, and Brooklyn College to donate coats to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. This coat drive will also benefit the less fortunate communities and schools of Brooklyn, NY.
With the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, the need for coats has never been greater. It has never been easier to make a difference in the community. By giving a coat, you can no longer fit or use is an amazing way to do so. Here is your opportunity to make sure that nobody goes without such a necessity as a coat this winter. This program is an easy way for you and your family to pass along any reusable clean coats and jackets in all sizes. This service is being provided free of charge to those who are in need.
These coats will go straight to the people who need them the most. As we all know, the cold winter is upon us. Something as simple as a coat that we take for granted, could mean the world to someone without one. We need the people of Miracle Temple Ministries and Brooklyn College to come together and help our fellow man in need. We are continually inspired by the generosity of the people of Brooklyn— they are living examples of the spirit of giving.
The Be Positive Campaign, Inc. is a youth empowerment organization established to empower the lives of the youth, by offering academic programs and activities that engage, empower, and educate youth, which promotes positive values that build self-affirmation. Thereby encouraging them to set and achieve their personal and educational goals.
If you are apart of the Brooklyn College campus or involved in the Miracle Temple Ministries and have any coats to donate, please contact Kimberly Hudson, Development Director at Bepositivecampaign@gmail.com ASAP! Men, Women, and children’s coats are needed!
