CS3 Technology Hosts Toys for Tots Drop-Off Location in Memory of USMC Corporal Wade Austin Toothman
Annual Toys for Tots participation creates community, benefits Toys for Tots and honors Corporal Toothman.
Tulsa, OK, November 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- CS3 Technology, a professional knowledge firm specializing in the sales, implementation, and support of ERP and HRMS solutions, is humbled to announce their participation in the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots annual campaign. This is done on behalf of customers and partners and this year is in memory of United State Marine Corps Corporal Wade Austin Toothman.
“We started the tradition four years ago when our team felt that money spent on holiday cards and gifts for customers could be better used to benefit the Toys for Tots program. At the time, Wade had just joined the Marines, fulfilling a life-long dream, and Wade’s mother has been a long-time CS3 team member. We selected Toys for Tots to support Wade and the United States Marine Corps,” said Gary Crouch, CEO of CS3 Technology. “We make it a company-wide event by giving each employee a budget to purchase toys. Our team can involve their families in support of a program that benefits so many children during the holidays.”
For the last three years, CS3 Technology also has served as a drop-off location. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off from 8 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday at CS3’s office located at 5272 S. Lewis Avenue, Suite 100, Tulsa, now through December 13.
United States Marine Corps Corporal Wade Austin Toothman proudly served his country. He was highly decorated and served two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. He received the Iraq Campaign Medal and the Afghanistan Campaign Medal. Wade passed away in October as a result of tour-related illness.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as holiday gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The program was started in 1947.
