Culinary Institution Expands Admissions with Addition of Beth Taylor

Raleigh, NC, November 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Beth Taylor has joined the college as a program specialist for the school’s Morrisville, N.C. campus. In this position, Taylor will work with prospective students, assist with the interviewing process and help expand the school’s current recruitment program. Additionally, Taylor will help newly enrolled students with their adjustment, serving as an advocate and guide in their transition to the school.

Taylor, who has more than 17 years of college admissions experience, began her career as an admissions representative for American Education Centers (AEC) at Michiana College in Fort Wayne, Ind., where she was later promoted to senior admissions representative. Additionally, Taylor held director of admissions positions at the Brown Mackie College campus in Louisville, Ky.; Westwood College’s campus in Fairfax, Va.; and Neumont University’s campus in Dulles, Va. Prior to joining The Chef’s Academy, Taylor served as an admissions officer at Living Arts College in Raleigh. She has received a number of awards recognizing her leadership abilities and dedication to admissions management, including the No. 1 Admissions Representative Award and No. 1 Director of Admissions from Brown Mackie College. Taylor is an active volunteer at the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program, which she has served with while living in Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina.
