The tower is one of the special ancient features of the property which has been beautifully preserved despite the restoration works.

The tower is one the oldest buildings in Florence, built by the Byzantines between 541 and 544AD to defend the city from the Goths. Guests will now have the unique opportunity to sleep within the Byzantine brick walls in this wonderful suite, with its antique oak parquet flooring, 18th century mirrors and gilded iron and crystal chandeliers. From the suite, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Florence with Giotto’s clock tower, the Duomo of Florence and Palazzo Vecchio all within view.
