"Profiles in Philanthropy," Hosted by Dr. Leigh-Davis, Has Lowered Fees for Its Distribution

New broadcasters continue to order Dr. Leigh-Davis’ television show, and the producers have agreed to lower licensing fees, in an effort to expedite global broadcasts.

Los Angeles, CA, November 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The TV Show "Profiles in Philanthropy" is lowering its licensing fees and has opened the door to all offers, when it comes to distributing episodes of its 30-minute TV show around the world. The entertainment industry is, first a business, and then entertainment, but this has not stopped executive producer and host, Dr. Leigh-Davis, from making decisions with social awareness in mind. Since its inception, the TV show "Profiles in Philanthropy" has had a global following; most likely because it is a TV show designed to promote philanthropic activities around the world. Although produced in the U.S., “Profiles in Philanthropy” has dedicated equal amounts of airtime to issues taking place everywhere in the world. It is not uncommon for one of its 30-minute episodes to feature stories on Japan, Africa, Indonesia, and more countries.

"Profiles in Philanthropy" hosted by Dr. Leigh-Davis, introduces viewers to how they can help communities and others less fortunate than themselves. Although focused on philanthropy, it is meant to be a very entertaining TV show with big name celebrities doing volunteer work. Also, the show gives updates on "who is who" among celebrity spokespeople. A staple of the show, are PSAs (public service announcements) featuring the biggest celebrities (Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, David Beckham,) which often air for the first time on "Profiles in Philanthropy." While promoting charitable endeavors, the show always has an entertaining soundtrack and usually licenses hit songs, at the top of the charts at the moment.
