New Survey Reveals: Birmingham is Britain's Most Creative City

London, United Kingdom, July 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A survey carried out by the website Forum For Ideas reveals today that Britain’s most creative people live in Birmingham.

People visit Forum For Ideas to post ideas for new products or services they would like to see on the market. To mention a few examples, Mrs. Jones in London would like someone to invent a foldable shoehorn and Mr. Baker in Manchester would like to subscribe to home-delivered ready meals.

Currently over 300 creative ideas are submitted weekly and the majority come from people in Birmingham, prompting its acclaimed title as, “Britain’s most creative city.”

Companies partnered with Forum For Ideas offer visitors incentives to help them solve specific problems such as coming up with a name for a new product or ideas on how to improve customer service.

The website is used by entrepreneurs and innovators as a resource to find inspiration for what the next big thing will be. Founder Christer Holloman explains, “Meeting needs is the fundamental key to success for anyone setting up a business”.

Holloman, also Chief Executive for First Tuesday - the real “Dragon’s Den”, concludes, “We are delighted to see that the people of Britain have embraced this opportunity to fuel entrepreneurs with inspiration.”
