Omni RMS Expands Its Social Media Training to New York, Chicago and Orlando
Manchester, United Kingdom, December 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Acting on excellent feedback from sell out social media training sessions in New York, the UK’s leading recruitment outsourcer Omni RMS has expanded its social media training operations in the USA, taking the course to additional states, including Illinois and Florida.
Senior consultant and head of the company’s training division Stuart Jones presented three bespoke training sessions across six days in New York, Chicago and Orlando. The sold-out seminars were attended by experienced US international recruiters representing top brands such as Carl Zeiss, Kellogg’s, Tony Roma’s, Arby’s, and the universities of Columbia and Brown.
Stuart Jones says: "After the phenomenal feedback from the original New York seminar, we decided to take the training to other cities in America. We realised a while back that the techniques employed in the UK are incredibly transferrable; what works here also works in America. As recruiters we’re all trying to access the best passive talent in our sectors, and social media is proving the key for so many organisations."
He continues: “The continuing success of this course shows that US brands have realised the need to adapt and embrace social media, and we’re already looking at other possible locations and partnerships in order to expand the programme even further.”
Omni’s UK social media training programme began three years ago and has since been delivered to nearly 1,000 companies, representing a who’s who of the country’s most recognisable domestic and international brands. The next international seminar series is scheduled for January 2013, where sessions will again be delivered in New York and Chicago and for the first time in Los Angeles, which will be the company’s much-anticipated inaugural delivery of the training on the West Coast.
