The seminar organized by Westholland Foreign Investment Agency is a part of preparation for the Year of Russia in the Netherlands. It is aimed to increase the interaction between companies from the Netherlands and Eastern Europe in the IT industry.
Moscow, Russia, December 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The seminar organized by Westholland Foreign Investment Agency and the Dutch Council for International trade promotion (NCH) from one side and the RUSSOFT Association and High Tech Park Belarus from another side took place in The Hague during the run-up to the Year of Russia in the Netherlands. The event gathered over 100 specialists from more than 40 IT companies from Russia, Belarus and the Netherlands as well as members of The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the Netherlands, government structures from Belarus and Holland and representatives of Dutch universities. The spokespersons represented of The Hague Mayor Office, The Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands, consulting companies, national associations of Russia and Belarus and top-managers of IT companies.
During the event the RUSSOFT, The Hague Mayor Office and The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation discussed the potentials of the interaction within IT industry, interests of Russian software companies and public authorities. Another topic concerned the establishment of the Russoft representation in Netherlands, the next step to achieve it will be the personal meeting with the vice-mayor of The Hague.
Pavel Adylin, the chairman of RUSSOFT and the CEO of Artezio spoke at the event on behalf of Russian IT community. In his speech, Mr. Adylin told about the RUSSOFT association and its activities, the results of the 9th Annual Survey of the Russian Software Export Industry, the situation on Russian IT market and the advantages for Dutch IT companies that they can get from cooperation with Russian partners.
Pavel Adylin: “This seminar is a perfect start of the Year of Russia in the Netherlands. The main aim of the RUSSOFT is to use such event to provide Dutch business with all advantages offered by Russian IT companies to their clients in the European Union. First of all I mean good quality of services, traditional high level developers’ skills, spatial and cultural proximity. It was a big surprise for me to know that 96% of all development projects in Netherlands are held by the Dutch companies internally and only 4% are outsourced. That means that in current situation when the shortage of specialists in Dutch IT sector is about 40 thousands employees, Russian IT companies have great opportunities to increase their presence on the Dutch IT market.”
