ObjectFrontier Software (OFS) Will be a Silver Sponsor for MoDevEast – a Mobile Conference for Navigating All Platforms
Rich Napoli will be speaking on a panel of experts about Enterprise applications.
Alpharetta, GA, December 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- ObjectFrontier Software (OFS), an Outsourced Product Development company that helps software companies and software-enabled businesses to design, develop, test, and maintain their software products and applications, whether they are hosted, licensed or mobile, today announced that the company will be a silver sponsor for MoDevEast conference and OFS' COO, Rich Napoli will be speaking on a panel of experts on "Enterprise applications."
Rich Napoli is a 35-year veteran of the software and IT industry. For most of his career, he led product development teams for four venture-backed software development companies, helping them to grow and eventually to be sold to firms including Oracle and State Street. In the early 2000s, Rich served for five years as a divisional CIO for State Street, a global institutional bank. While there, he led an organization of over 400 to help build a new asset management outsourcing business and technology platform that grew to handle over $3 trillion in assets. Since then, Rich has been the CEO of Fusion Technologies, a $15 million software services firm that he grew and eventually sold to Alliance Consulting. Currently, Rich is the COO of ObjectFrontier (OFS), an outsourced product development firm that helps software-enabled businesses to build and test their commercial software offerings. In 2010, Rich started and grew OFS’ enterprise mobility division that builds iPad apps for software firms and large enterprises. Rich has a BS in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and an MBA from New York University.
Rich Napoli will be paneling a discussion on "Enterprise applications" at 1:15 PM on 30th November at the event. Rich's discussion will address the challenges involved in developing applications for tablet devices. Developing enterprise mobile applications that deliver on business requirements can seem easy, but the specific challenges should be first found out and then addressed to achieve outstanding performance. Since developing for the mobile platforms is relatively new, many developing companies are not familiar with the challenges and think that creating an enterprise mobile application can be faster and need less work than developing for the web or desktop devices. Overcoming these perceptions involves training developers and business users in order to embrace this change in technology in order to maximize on the many benefits and have it deliver returns for your business organization.
