FSN PME and A Plus Finance Bring Their Financial Support to Systancia to Speed Up Its International Development on the Cloud Computing Market
Paris, France, December 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The FSN PME (the French National Fund for Digital Society), managed by the group Caisse des Dépôts on behalf of the French government in the context of the Programme d’Investissement d’Avenir (Future Investment Program), and A Plus Finance realized a minority stake in Systancia, French software publisher in the field of virtualization. This financial transaction of 4 million euros is provided by the group Caisse des Dépôts, through its subsidiary CDC Enterprises, which manage the fund FSN PME and A Plus Finance. This investment aims to support the Systancia development, including international expansion and thereby strengthening the French potential within the area of software publishing for the Cloud.
Systancia, a French SME software company, has gradually established itself as the first provider of alternative solutions on the market of application centralization and desktop virtualization in France and Europe, virtualization being the technical component without which Cloud Computing does not exist. Systancia is recognized for its innovation that places it among the world leading players in this sector.
This round of funding will allow Systancia to strengthen its forces and teams, making it possible to focus on the international market where the Cloud Computing business is already experiencing very fast growth.
Christophe Corne, CEO and founder of Systancia: “This investment is the opportunity to position the company as an international leader in the field of Cloud Computing without distorting what made us strong, ie the technological value of our products and the close proximity relationship we built between our teams and customers.”
This share fundraising confirms the strategy for growth and development wished by the vendor, as Jocelyne Cerasa, Director of CDC Entreprises investment, said, "Cloud computing is a vector of competitiveness for the economy of our country. In addition to FSN investments in the field of infrastructure, it is essential that the products, software and tools manufactured by French SMEs act as the task force of our national Cloud strategy."
Jean-Michel Pimont, Associate Director of A Plus Finance Company, which was already part of the previous share fundraising added: "We have believed in Systancia from the beginning and supported the company since 2009. We are very pleased with the increased activity of this jewel of the digital economy, which now has everything to become one of the technological and business leaders of the Cloud market."
